We absolutely love this property! This is our second year booking and we have loved it just as much as the first time. The location is perfect, so close to some lovely pubs and beautiful walks. The room was clean, cosy and perfect for an autumn break. What really makes this place special is the people – all the staff are so welcoming and friendly, especially Steve, who always makes us feel so welcome. The breakfast is incredible, especially the scrambled eggs! We would highly recommend staying here and will definitely be returning again. 😊
Honestly, there was nothing we didn’t like. We had another lovely stay and couldn’t fault the property.

The Thatched Cottage bedroom was beautifully presented, very clean with a lovely comfortable bed and bed linen and great bathroom facilities.
The staff were warm & welcoming and our breakfast and afternoon tea both delicious.
It was all lovely. It is a very old and quirky property with well maintained features.

The location was fantastic, and all the staff were so lovely and welcoming. The included breakfast was delicious and a real highlight of my stay! The rooms were clean, cosy and comfortable, making it a really lovely place to stay for the weekend.
As the building is older, some noise travels between the rooms, and I could occasionally hear guests in the units below, particularly at night. I’m a fairly light sleeper, so I noticed it more than most people probably would. It was a minor drawback in an otherwise wonderful stay.

Really friendly staff, lovely clean and comfortable room with lots of little special touches. Free parking outside. Would recommend.
There was only a few parking spaces which were sometimes taken by the tearoom customers.
