This little house was perfect for exploring the Scottish Borders. The house was spotless when we arrived, there was a note and welcoming items from the owners, and they called in to make sure everything was OK. The house is an ideal holiday home - spacious, clean, quiet and comfortable and everything worked. The location is quiet and is in beautiful grounds. Denholm is 1/2 mile away, where there a couple of good pubs / restaurants and a small shop. Larger towns (Jedburgh and Hawick) are about 10 - 15 minutes drive away. We will definitely go back when we stay in the Borders again.

Warm & welcoming. Lots of lovely extras and thought of everything to make stay comfortable. Grounds gorgeous.
Nothing at all. Had to leave a day early due to snow cast and didn't want to leave.

Melgund glen was a beautifully presented cottage. I would recommend it anyone who want a lovely quiet location with easy access to denholm.
