Nestled in Burt Lake, this lovely cabin for $325 per night is a great choice for your next break. Beautiful 73 year old log cabin located on the North East end of Burt Lake in scenic northern Michigan. Completely renovated and up to date situated on 80 feet of shoreline, our cabin offers four bedrooms and three new bathrooms. Master bedroom includes a king size bed with whirlpool in the room. Cozy loft with a low ceiling is just great for kids. A private dock provides easy access to your boat along with a private 2 mooring buoy. Recreational Items that come with Cabin outside and inside games. 1. Volley Ball net & Ball 2. Three kayaks and Life Jackets for Adults. 3. Shuffle Board Court 4. Badminton set 5. Games - Battle ship Monopoly Sorry Connect Candyland Playing cards Scrabble Enjoy! Complete modern amenities compliment our cabin with all you will need for a comfortable and memorable stay. Everything is new except the walls and the Antiques! Amenities location of Bedrooms Walk out basement: -Master bedroom with with king size bed along with whirlpool tub. -2 single bedroom - down the hall from master. 1st floor road level: Three beautiful bedrooms with 2 singles lake side along with and one large bedroom with 2 double beds. Queen size bedroom located road side. -Loft 1 double bed. - Livingroom Spare Sleeper sofa may accommodate 2 extra guests for a total of sixteen people. Kitchen - Fully equipped, including dishwasher, microwave, and stove. Living room - entertainment a new Big screen TV with VCR and DVD Player. Laundry room- located in walkout basement. Bar area located in living room with its own Mimi frig. Fire pit with fire wood, gas grill, picnic table, and 10 x10 sand box for the kids are all located lake side. Activities: Boating on the Inland Water Way, horse back riding, skiing, hiking, hunting, fishing, Foosball in our game room and a shuffle board court are just a few of the many activities you can do at our cabin. A private dock provides easy access to your boat along with a 2 private mooring buoy. Cabin water front has a rocky shore the first 20 feet out then turns into a sandy bottom staying waist high for almost 100 yards. It’s excellent for younger kids 5 years and up who enjoy swimming. We furnish a sand box for smaller children who want to play in the sand. Off the dock, kids and adults that act like kids will enjoy catching crawfish and minnows. Boats can be rented at Indian River Marina for the week or the day. Area: Cabin is located less than 22 miles to Makinaw, less than 25 miles to Petoskey, and 10 miles from Indian River Golf Club. Riding stable is located ¼ mile from cabin just across the street from Hoppies Tavern. Snowmobile trails are just 10 minutes away.

Beautiful & comfortable cabin on a beautiful lake. Close to Mackinaw Island, Boyne Mountain, and many options of restaurants and shopping. Plenty of great space to spend together as family.

We had a wonderful stay. The cabin was clean & comfortable. Each of the 9 ladies on our girls trip especially enjoyed having their own bed…no sharing! And 3 bathrooms were perfect! The property is spacious…enjoyed the fire pit, kayaks, and shuffleboard. Beautiful, clear lake for swimming.
Chuck (owner) was very responsive to our communication efforts, and has a wonderful manager just a few houses away for any questions or situations that come up. I would go back anytime, and will be recommending the cabin to others.

The listing description and pics were spot on - not a bit of exaggeration. Well stocked kitchen, comfy beds, plenty of games and outside fun. Chuck and Gene were both super helpful and easy to contact. The lake was so beautiful and so were the sunsets We built fires, grilled, paddled, boated and swam. 3 couples and a toddler had more than enough space. We will be back!

We had a great week at the cabin. The owner contacted us soon after we arrived to make sure that check in went smoothly and to let us know to contact him if any issues should arise…none did. The cabin was great for our family. The beds were comfortable. The kitchen isn’t large, but worked great for the several meals we ate there. WiFi worked well for the occasional kid’s videos we streamed. We appreciated the firewood that was provided for bonfires. We used the gas grill a couple nights and it worked well and was in great condition. We couldn’t have had a better week on Burt!

Our family of 6 adults and 3 children had plenty of room and comfort at this cabin. All of the amenities were provided to make our week very enjoyable. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen was very functional, indoor and outdoor eating areas were great and a washer and dryer was nice. The grounds were great for activities and water access was good for boating.

Cottage is welcoming and homey and accommodated our group of nine nicely. We enjoyed the lake, time hanging out in the dock and kayaking. A very relaxing vacation.

The house was roomy and clean. It easily fit 10 people. We had spacious room outside for games and activities. The house was also close to attractions like Mackinaw Island, the Soo Locks in Sault Saint Marie and easy access to small northern Michigan towns for dining and shopping.

A great cabin on Burt Lake. The 9 of us enjoyed our week at the lake. The cabin was spotless and came with everything needed to enjoy the lake. We will definitely consider returning to this cabin next time we vacation in northern Michigan.

Stayed here in February to fish Burt lake. Great access to lake with ramp provided for getting on and off the ice. Good location and just a short walk/drive to lake access and hoppies. Host was extremely accommodating.

This was our first visit and we can’t wait to schedule our next. The property was super clean and equipped with just about anything you needed. We were a party of 10 (6 adults and 4 children) and for comfortably in the house. Any questions were answered immediately.

Chuck's place was terrific! Very clean and comfortable, great location on the lake. Gene was responsive, and Julia was very friendly! Kitchen is well stocked with what we needed for cooking, fire pit was enjoyed almost nightly, as well as the shuffleboard and sandbox by my 2-year-old grandson. Would definitely stay again but unfortunately, the place is booked for next summer:(

Super-Fantastic for our large family
I was struck immediately by the immaculately cared-for yard and pristine condition of the outside of the "cabin". The inside did not disappoint--it was well-decorated, the kitchen was stocked with appliances, the dining area was perfect for our large group; the beds were comfortable, the living room area was spacious, and there were multiple fans as well as air conditioning. We loved the badmitton, shuffleboard, fire pit, and sandbox provided for us on the lake side. And the lake was fantastic. My 9-year-old granddaughter said, "Can we come back here next year?" Highly recommended.

Friends and family friendly
This cabin is so spacious! It has plenty of sleep space and bathrooms for a larger group and you don’t feel like you’re invading anyone else’s space. It was fully stocked with everything we needed and more. Plenty of things to do in the backyard and water and a great location—not far away from many local tourist hot-spots. Thank you for a great place to stay during our “up north” vacation!

Up North With Friends
Our group consisted of 4 families with kids ranging 6 months to 2 years old. The house was more than adequate for our group as we were able to utilize the outdoor deck and fire pit after the kiddos went to sleep. The main floor rooms are small and required some creativity to get pack n plays set up for sleep, but we were all able to be accommodated comfortably in the end.
Chuck and Gene were very helpful and communicative throughout the vacation. We would book again.
