As a party of 5, we booked the family cottage, which was lovely. Three large bedrooms, with the upstairs bedroom being particularly spacious and luxurious. The lights in one of the toilets was not working, which staff pointed out to us on arrival (though was not fixed during our stay). The food provided was nice. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Located right outside the gate to Ol Pejeta, the location is fantastic.
The downside is that there are no re-entry options into Ol Pejeta – when you have elderly people who cannot do a full-day game drive, but could do morning and afternoon game drives, it can become very expensive with no re-entry options available (e.g. multiple entries during one 6, 12 or 24-hour period).

Friendly staff but just felt as though you don't get what you expect for your money - lights didn't work, bathroom flooded, dinner took 90 minutes to arrive (after pre-ordering), pool full of bugs. Just a shame when the staff were so friendly and you could hear lions so close at night.
