Great cottages for a family or group and the animals (peacocks, ostriches and geese) are great fun for the kids. Highly recommend setting up a bonfire in the evening.
It would be great to have more cuttlery in the cottages.

Kind and accommodating the staff were throughout my stay. I just think a bit more preparation beforehand — especially around dusting and the sofa situation — would make a real difference for future guests' comfort.
Hi, I wanted to share some honest feedback from my recent stay, in the hope it's helpful.
Overall the staff were warm and welcoming, which I really appreciated. That said, there were a few things that affected my comfort:
- I was in Guest Room 2, and unfortunately the living room seating was quite uncomfortable, so I ended up spending most of my time in the bedroom or outside rather than relaxing in that space.
- The oven wasn't brought in until day 2, after I asked for it — I wasn't sure why it wasn't there from the start.
- On the first night, the house was quite dusty, which triggered some mild allergies for me. I mentioned it to the staff and they were very gracious about cleaning it promptly.
- My breakfast utensils were also left out until the next day rather than being cleared.
