Loved Pousada Mariola, the view was spectacular, worth the steep climb that it sits on. Staff were gorgeous, breakfast was full of homemade cakes and pastries, with lots of fresh fruit. The gardens were immaculate.

Rooms were spacious and private. Off the main track with great views from a height. A car would be useful.
I can see why unfit people would struggle with the stairs but we didn’t mind at all

The view from the rooms is outstanding. The rooms are comfortable and new.
The wi-fi does not work all the time.

The staff was super nice and professional. The location was great and we could go walking to the historic downtown. The view of the bay from the room was amazing too.
The mattresses are a bit too hard for my taste
