Well located, well equipped, comfortable and clean.
Good location. Comfortable bed. Helpful host.
Needs a grab rail in the shower. Could do with a lick of paint.

disappointed and ripped off
it had a parking space and the bedroom was quiet
The scruffy facade and peeling paint on the front door and cobweb strewn staircase next to it, interior was very tired and desperately needs a repaint ( yellowing doors and chipped paint again) - the Tv didn’t work for more than 10 mins at a time ( no, it wasn’t the weather !) and the main ceiling light went out after 30mins and wouldn’t come back on ( it did eventually - not sure how ) - the wardrobe door was broken and the shower panel very dirty along bottom edge. forgive my rant but I was so disappointed - if it had been my kids student accommodation I wouldn’t have been surprised - but the worse thing was it cost us £252 to stay a max of 18 hours - I expected Grade 1 for that. It wasn’t all bad - we went out for my husbands birthday dinner and that was fab !

Lovely location and well equipped. Suited us fine. We could easily be tempted to come back
I mistakenly tried the booking Pin code. Country Cottages phone staff assisted promptly and gave me the correct info and confirmed the location of the designated parking area.
Front entry door is not secured as you leave- this only gives access to lobby/bookstore there is a securely locked door once you enter the lobby this was not a major concern. All windows are locked as you close the latch but the kitchen window needs a key to unlock and open. We couldn’t find the key to unlock so some through ventilation in the kitchen was lacking.

In general, the stay was very good. 8 out of 10 only the shower dropped the rating.
Shower is abysmal.!! Either too hot or too cold and very poor pressure.!!

Ok, it was a bed and bathroom. Sofas were comfortable as was the bed and linen. Scruffy outside spac
Location ok,but rundown and tired.
The flat needs a major update, to bring it into the 21st century. Only 4 channels on the t.v. But only a short walk away from town, as long as you are mobile.

It met is purpose of being able to stay somewhere, to sleep and during the wet days.
We liked the location and the facilities at the property. Hot water pressure very low so took a long time to get hot.
Shower was not very good. Why were there table settings for six people...six plates, six cups and saucers, six bowls etc but the property only had one bed for two small people? Bed was quite small but a larger one would not fit the room.

Lovely place to visit and tour the countryside attractions.
The facilities were very good and clean. Nice kitchen and crockery etc. Good quality TV and good wi fi.
The painting of doors, skirting and bathroom was a bit faded and scuffed and could do with freshening up to make it look better. The property smelt ‘fusty’ on entry and would have been nice if background heating had been left on after cleaner left prior to our arrival.
