The Ritz-Carlton, Langkawi

I recently had the pleasure of staying at The Ritz Carlton , and I cannot commend the experience enough. From the moment I arrived, the welcoming ambiance and impeccable cleanliness set the tone for a fantastic stay. The staff truly made all the difference; their warmth and professionalism were evident in every interaction. Whether it was the front desk team efficiently checking me in or the concierge offering personalized recommendations, each member went above and beyond to ensure my comfort. Their attentiveness and genuine care transformed my visit into a memorable experience, making me eager to return. Warmest regards to Syasya and all the staff.

The hotel is simply amazing! The staff is very helpful and polite, our rainforest villa was super comfortable, the food at all restaurants was delicious. We loved absolutely everything and we will definitely be back to Ritz!

Great setting and beautiful grounds surrounded by nature. The gym was excellent and open 24/7. Food was generally good and the pool bar was enjoyable

We experienced constant issues with the rooms (111/112). In room 111 something broke almost every day: AC not working, then the TV, then a water/tap issue, which meant repeated late maintenance visits. Before departure, room 112 had a non-working phone, making it hard to contact reception/buggy service. Despite these repeated problems, there was no meaningful service recovery (no upgrade/compensation). The assigned butler (Nargis) was not proactive: no direct contact, no check-ins, no help with bookings, and late check-out was initially treated as potentially chargeable even though our transfer was at 15:00. Sunbeds were limited (often difficult to find loungers at the adults’ pool) and breakfast could be crowded with queues
