Friendly couple, Craig and Lori are working so hard for this place, to make it dog friendly really helps to stay as we could bring our jack and not worry about leaving him behind. They were both so accommodating, being our Jack's 10th birthsay aswell they certainly made us all feel so welcome. The room is so comfy and tidy, with everything though of. Even an accessible room which is wonderful to see. They have plans for the place and we cant wait to stay again.

The bed linen was clean, which was a positive, but unfortunately the issues above made our four-night stay very uncomfortable.
Unfortunately, our stay was spoiled almost immediately after arrival.
One of the biggest issues was the £10 per night dog charge. Booking.com only states that pet charges may apply, without giving the amount. We were only told about the £40 charge for our four-night stay when we arrived and were asked to pay it immediately. This is not about the amount of money, but about the charge not being clearly stated before booking.
The room was humid and extremely heavily scented, with 4 reed diffusers, 2 gel air fresheners and even scented wardrobe shelves. The smell was so overwhelming that we had to remove the air fresheners. The bathroom extractor fan didn't work, and the small window provided virtually no ventilation. This could be particularly problematic for guests with asthma, allergies or sensitivity to strong fragrances.
There was also no obvious dog-waste bin outside; we were only told about a bin around the corner when we checked out.
For future guests, please note that breakfast is not included with a room-only booking and is charged separately. We did not have breakfast, so cannot comment on the food.
If travelling with a dog, I recommend confirming the exact pet charge before booking, as well as asking about ventilation and the use of strong fragrances if these are important to you.
