Exceptional

Great value for your money. The host is the sweetest lady, the place is clean, the beds are very comfortable and it's got everything you need.

I think in this price range there's literally nothing else you could ask for except for an outlet and nightlight for each bed. Great place.

If you need to stay in Liberia, this is the place 👍🏻

I arrived to the place a little late but I let them know in advance via WhatsApp number they provided, so I didn’t have any problem with the check in. They were really polite. I had a very quiet and comfortable night at the dorm. In the morning they offer free coffee which was also nice. Also the common area was decorated with the guests’ drawings, it was very lovely. You can leave your drawing as a memory before you leave.

nice place close to the bus station

very conveniently located next to the bus station, had a lot of information on easy local trips and activities, kitchen was fully stocked with coffee and anything else available.

the rooms didn’t have any outside windows, the common hangout area was a little loud and next to the road. I think it is an excellent spot to stay to catch a bus but maybe not the best for hanging out for a few days.

ok for 1-2 Nights, close to busterminal, nice host

+ close to bus station (peñas blancas or other destinations + friendly host + good wifi + cheapest option in Liberia close to busterminal (CR is expensive for traveling….)

- its hot (April 23) and the fan in the room is very strong, noisy and annoying. - small bath (still ok) - its Costa Rica, everything is quite expensive (14€/night compared to cheaper hostels ok but only for one night)

Perfect Location for your onward journey, good atmosphere and equipped kitchen. very friendly staff. good choice for a short stay.

Wonderful hostel. Grace and the staff are great, always making sure I have everything I need. The people staying here are always interesting and social - this time was no exception. It's easy to cook here. I'll definitely stay again - happily - next time I'm in town.

everything. The staff is the best, they were really helpfull and really sweet and we felt welcomed. The hostel is 10 minutes away from the main city by foot, so it’s really calm qnd not too loud

good vibes and basic breakfast for free (oatmeal and coffee)

small dorm room, staff doesn't have much information about the surroundings and their currency rate is too unusual (692 crc = 1 usd), while in all costa rica it is between 575 and 610). I paid in dollars and they still charged me more than the price on booking.com.

Perfect, basic but super convenient for airport

Location spot on for airport. We were only staying for the purpose of ease to the airport the next morning.

Not having my own key. Personal preference would like a bit more privacy for the bunks. Perhaps curtains etc.

The owner is a sweetheart, the rest of the staff is also super friendly and helpful! Had a dorm on my own, felt super comfortable and slept well. The kitchen is not too big but it has everything you need for cooking. Speedy WiFi and coffee in the morning. Also I found it right away when I got off the bus, it's well located. Loved it! I would definitely go there again.

Good location, close to the bus station.

Very thin walls and the interior doors have shutters which doesn’t make it feel very private, also quite loud at times. You don’t get a key to the main entrance and you have a curfew. Small rooms, lumpy bed and a loud fan.

Very comfortable, and a perfect place to stay before flying out of Liberia.

Hosts were very friendly and accommodating for any of my needs. Room was small but sufficient for my stay. Room was equipped with TWO fans. One for direct air, and another to circulate warm air out of the room. Nice detail! In the evening, an air conditioner was turned on to cool off the four rooms at the end of my hallway, so that was a nice add. Coffee was included with my stay. TV was in my room, but I didn't need to use it.

Shared bathroom. I figured I wouldn't really care, but it is a slight inconvenience to have to wait on someone to get out...

only stayed one night before going to Nicaragua. it was perfect for thah. owner is nice but doesn’t speak english. location really close to the bus terminal which is great.
