We had the best service! I left our passports in the room. The lodge tried very hard to contact me. Unfortunately my phone wasn’t roaming. By the time I discovered it we were already in Zagreb. DHL was going to take more than 3 days. The owner of the lodge offered to deliver the passports to us and they arrived on the same nights. We were very happy to pay for the reasonable fee. The lodge is located very close to both Plitvice Lakes entrance 1 and 2. The onsite restaurant has made it very easy for us to have dinner after a day walk in the park.
There was no lift so we had to carry our luggage up the stairs. It was ok for us but may not suitable for elderly.

Everything ….. the ambiance of the lodge provided a truly rustic feeling, with a patio and bar to enjoy delicious meals made by the family who own the facilities, to the extremely clean and well cared for rooms, every detail of our stay was very well taken care of by the family staff.

Wonderful lodge very close to the park entrance with great family hosting us. Everything was clean and well organized. We had very nice dinner and breakfast at the lodge - and enjoyed talking to the whole family.
