We arrived several hours before the normal check-in time, and the host kindly stored our luggage so that we could explore Plitvice Lakes National Park first and return later to check in.
We traveled by bus from Zagreb to Plitvice Lakes. There are three bus stops serving the park—the first two are for Entrances 1 and 2, while we got off at the 3rd stop, Mukinje. The property is only about 500 meters from the station, an easy 6–7 minute walk.
The hosts were extremely helpful and even offered to drive us to the park entrance or pick us up afterward if needed. In fact, after we checked out, the host kindly drove us to Entrance 2 in the morning, and we stored our luggage at the park. After spending our second day in the park, it was very convenient to retrieve our luggage and catch our bus to Zadar from the stop at Entrance 2.
The room was very clean, spacious, and comfortable, and the breakfast was wonderful. We highly recommend this property to anyone visiting Plitvice Lakes.

What a fantastic stay! The location can't be beat, the rooms were clean and spacious, but most importantly, the hosts were so welcoming and helpful! It's clear they truly enjoy and take pride in their work. Breakfast was incredible; both delicious and abundant. Parking was easy, and the location was just minutes from the P2 park entrance.

This is a perfect place to stay when visiting the park. Rooms are spacious, clean and very comfortable. Staff were very helpful and very friendly. Great breakfast as well. Would highly recommend.

What a treat to be able to stay at this wonderful guest house. Myself and my husband stayed for 2 nights, along with friends and their grown-up children (a group of 6 with 4 rooms in total). We had a standard room which was clean, very spacious with a super comfortable bed, and had everything you need including hair dryer, tea/coffee facilities, small fridge and an amazing powerful shower with plenty of hot water.
The location was perfect for Plitvice National Park, only 4 (Ent2) or 7mins (Ent1) drive away. The setting of the guest house is beautiful with gardens to relax in. It is set back from the road making it very peaceful, but also giving easy access.
The hosts were so welcoming, friendly & helpful. They brought cherries and homemade schnapps to enjoy while we played cards in the garden, they shared their knowledge of the National park and recommended the walking routes, and booked a table for us at the local restaurant. We all highly recommend including the breakfast. It was a feast!! Continental meats & cheeses, bread, fruit, yogurt, muesli, pastries, crepes with Nutella and cooked eggs (different ways depending on the day), as well as local honey & jams. You will not be disappointed!
Also highly recommend Bistro Antonio for your evening meal. A few minutes walk down the road and a huge selection of pizza, pasta and grilled meats. Make sure to book a table as it was extremely busy.
