Situated in Flamingo Lummus, this attractive condo for $144 per night is a great choice for your next break. A very nice and quiet large studio, located on Ocean Drive, in a beachfront art deco building. You are few steps away from the beach, from the restaurant and pubs and nights. In the apartment there are two very comfortable queen beds and a large granito desk You can bike or walk to the promenade, to the Lincoln Mall or to the shopping center or to the supermarket . There is a lovely free gym on the beach equipped with the machines for exercise and volley ball fields . And you are few steps away from News Cafe , the Versace Mansion , some art galleries. You are in the heart of the art deco district. it is a great vacation: you can swim in he ocean, the water is warm as the sun , the colors are very brilliant. You can go biking , jogging, strolling or just sit at the bar and look all the mankind who is passing by. Everyone is smiling and all embracing or kissing each other. The buildings are deco , colored and smiling too. Do not miss the local bus. it costs only 25 cent. and you can go everywhere . Do not forget to buy tropical fruit on Sunday at Lincoln Mall or at market at Coconut Grove.

My son and I left the apartment and checked into a hotel after two nights here. We would have left sooner, but everything was booked over the weekend. I understood from the price that the place wouldn't be luxurious, but given the excellent reviews I had higher hopes. I was hugely disappointed.
The bathroom wasn't really clean. The tiles were covered in someone else's hair. I couldn't figure out how to turn on the shower. And I couldn't let my son take a bath in a tub that was visibly dirty. The toilet only flushes half the time and randomly runs in the middle of the night. There's a short in the light over the sink. The middle bulb goes off and on. The travel size soap and two towels--no shampoo as promised in the listing--were not going to get us through the week. And the bathmat was ancient and frankly disgusting.
The beds were fine but the sheets and thin, cheap blankets need replacing. The curtains barely cover the windows. Light pours in from the street at night. And there's no privacy during the day with the windows open. Not that you can hold them open. The tie backs are falling out of the wall. And the left window is partly open, and the handle is missing so I couldn't close it. The noise from the busy street overlooking a liquor store went on all night, making it impossible to sleep. The a/c is deafening when turned on. There are tiles literally falling off the walls and others visibly cracked and broken. The round table, barely big enough for a laptop, is falling apart.
The refrigerator is leaking something I hope is water. The cleaning person left a wad of soaked paper towels in the bottom of it. I tried to clean up some of these things but there was nothing to clean with. There was a tiny, almost empty bottle of dish soap. No sponge, no dish towels, no paper towels, not even a napkin. I didn't open the dish washer because I was afraid of what I might find. There was no detergent for it anyway so there was no point investigating. When I raised these issues to the owner she completely stopped communicating with me.
I was completely overwhelmed by what a wreck the place was. I have no idea how it has received 4.2 stars.

Great location. Owner very fast in responding.
A few things can be updated but nothing that wouldn’t keep me from renting again. Beach is right across the building so we tracked in a lot of sand, my apologies.

Perfect Location
My husband and I stayed for one week and we're thrilled with the unit and location! We had everything we needed. Very walkable to shopping, the beach, and restaurants. Loved it!!! Our unit was very quiet, the bed comfortable, and the common areas kept clean. We felt very safe despite the spring breakers. Would stay there again if we came back.

We were misled that it was in a quiet area. We couldn’t even drive to the location as the streets were closed to car traffic which we were not made aware of. The nearest garage was 1/4 mile away. Didn’t even get to stay and the owner had no sympathy for the situation. Horrible experience - shame on her. Hopefully the insurance I took out will be accommodating.

Perfect location on Ocean Drive. The room itself is just as described. Room next to us had trash in the hallway all weekend, but we know this is outside of the control of this property owner. We would absolutely stay here again!

It was wonderful
My wife and I stayed here for five days, and everything was great. I will say there isn't much seating in the unit we were in. It came with a queen sized bed, and a chair with a little foot stool in the corner. But otherwise everything was perfect. The host as well as the housekeeper were very responsive to anything we needed. And it is right on Ocean Drive, all we had to do was walk out the front door and across the street to the beach. I will be trying to stay here again on my next visit

Clean and good location
The apartment was clean, and the location was excellent for a fun weekend. Didn't get any of the apartments on the picture though. The descriptions says two double beds, and when we arrived it was only one queen bed, and an inflatable mattress. I was not very happy about that, and was told that there was a leak on the other apartment, and that this was the only we could get. We were just two, so it was ok, but not as described.

Good for price
Good for students. It’s was spring break so it was loud and there we’re a lot of parties going on outside and inside the building. I did it mind but if you’re looking to relax I wouldn’t recommend staying in south beach during March.

Enjoyable and centered on the heart of ocean drive
Olga was very helpful, meeting us at front door on arrival and answered all questions.

Was nothing i expected... Room smelled which we realized it was the towels and sheets that smelled like they were washed and left wet for days the back burner on the stove did not work well, the walls were dirty had to purchase towels and a comforter, air freshener only good thing about this property is the location made the best of my vacation with my friends but this location is due for a remodel

Location in the party side of south beach, fun experience at bare minimum level
Had a fun experience from proximity to beach and nightclubs, and room was clean upon entry. Beds were comfy but small, bathroom and shower were nice, but wifi didn't work and there are no cookware items. Overall, good stay, you get what you pay for

Great location and hospitality manager.
We enjoyed our stay. The Barbizon has a prime location on Ocean Drive. The apartment was quiet and overlooked a quiet alley. Elena, the hospitality manager, has been very helpful and caring.

Good place in south beach
We spent 6 days in the apartment, the room was clean and everything was exactly as the description.
Advantages:
·The room is big and has everything that all you need to spend your holidays
·The housekeeper is kind and she will help you whenever necessary.
·The apartment is located in the art deco district, nearby the beach.
·The amount of restaurants and clubs that you will have close
Disadvantages:
·The fridge's sound which sometimes stars at night and is unconfortable.
·The window has a direct sight to the street.

Great location. Toilet would run, and fridge didn't get that cold and made noises. But that didn't really bother us.
