Rien, c’était parfait !

Un soggiorno davvero meraviglioso nel cuore di Santorini! L’appartamento è bellissimo, molto caratteristico e ricavato direttamente nella roccia: anche restando in casa si respira pienamente l’atmosfera autentica dell’isola e si vive davvero lo spirito di Santorini. La struttura si trova già nel centro di Fira, in una posizione comodissima per raggiungere a piedi ristoranti, negozi e locali, con tanta vita fino a tarda sera. La sistemazione è composta da due stanze completamente indipendenti l’una dall’altra, entrambe con il proprio bagno, ma allo stesso tempo parte dello stesso edificio. Una soluzione perfetta per una famiglia o per due coppie. Gli ambienti sono molto belli, curati e dotati di tutto il necessario. Abbiamo apprezzato moltissimo le bottiglie d’acqua messe a disposizione e l’abbondante scorta di caffè, un’attenzione che noi italiani abbiamo gradito davvero tanto. La privacy è totale: una volta entrati si è completamente indipendenti e si può vivere il soggiorno in piena tranquillità. Dopo due giorni ci hanno inoltre fatto, con nostra piacevole sorpresa, il riassetto delle stanze e il cambio degli asciugamani: un servizio che non sapevamo fosse previsto e che abbiamo apprezzato moltissimo. A causa di alcuni problemi con il volo, abbiamo avuto bisogno di lasciare i bagagli più a lungo e anche in questa occasione sono stati molto disponibili. È stato tutto davvero perfetto e porteremo con noi un bellissimo ricordo di questa esperienza. Struttura assolutamente super consigliata!

We had an amazing experience at Christina’s house, we were greeted early in the morning, way before the planned check-in time, and we were also instructed on where to park and what to do on the island which made our experience much better and easier. The house itself is at no more than 10 minutes on foot from the center of the island, meaning shops and food are very close. The host was also very responsive and always replied within minutes to any questions. Overall we would totally come back.

The location was really great. It was easy to walk into town. Our host arranged for pickup from the port and a transfer back to the port. He was very responsive when we had a question or needed something. Our host gave us a recommendation for a nice restaurant nearby which we enjoyed. The living space was nice and there were plenty of dishes and utensils for eating the simple meals we had in the apartment. We appreciated the bottled water which was provided. It was nice to have 2 full bedrooms and bathrooms for the 4 adults we had in the apartment. The beds were comfortable. The shower water was hot.

It was confusing as to which light switches controlled which lights. The downstairs bedroom needed more lighting. The downstairs felt very humid, especially after a shower since the bathroom fan did not seem powerful enough to vent properly. The second bedroom and bath were upstairs via a narrow, uneven stairway. It was difficult to carry suitcases up these stairs. The upstairs bathroom needed better lighting and would have benefited from a shelf or other place to place your shower things.
