Fantastic place to stay. It is a guest house that is managed by a super friendly local family who share the same building. The owners are very approachable and willing to help with any questions. At the same time they do their things and leave you space to do yours. Because it is shared with a family home, you can see that the house is super taken care of and very clean. The house is very comfortable and has characteristic Canarian elements in the design. The house feels big there are large and comfortable areas so even if it was full of guests you wouldn't feel it is too small. Great kitchen facilities so there is space and equipment to prepare your meals if you want to. The garden deserves praise in itself. It's beautiful and there are so many plants that it feels like a mini botanical garden. I really enjoyed the olive trees and the collection of cactuses. However the pine trees were my favourite as they are tall and make characteristics sound when the wind is blowing. It's worth the highlight how much effort the family must put into maintaining all those plants in a desert-like environment. Other than plants the garden is great. There are a lot of garden furniture around such as sofas or chairs to enjoy. At night it's possible to do star gazing from the garden. There is nice swimming pool in the garden. There is a parking space, which is secure because there is a gate. The location is great. You can walk to the centre of the village and there are plenty of shops, restaurants and coffee shops. I loved the location of the house as there are a lot of running and desert trails around to explore. Fantastic for desert walking and running. Even though I stayed there for 10 days I still don't feel I explored all of them, because there are so many. Both Carralejo and Cotillo are within a short drive and both of them have amazing beaches and seaside. Some good for swimming some for surfing.

The peaceful garden

You have to rent a car to live here because it's far from everything. Unless of course you like walking everywhere that much. The house and the yard are really nice and beautiful. It's clean, the kitchen is enormous, lots of space both inside and outside.

The hostel owners also live here so I had a feeling like I'm always in someone else's house. Their kids walking around etc. Nothing wrong with that, but I couldn't feel as free and relaxed as in other hostels.
