Excellent, friendly atmosphere, comfortable sleep, great value

Super friendly host, with all the information needed to get around. Helped with many bookings which were not possible as a foreigner, and got many good intel how to get around. Highly recommend!

Furniture could get an upgrade, but it's the first year after C19, so things need to fall into place. It's a really nice place overall. Comfortable, and great value, Highly recommend

Dirty but good owner

The owner was friendly and took time to explain a good route for our two day stay.

- When we arrived the owner told us that the booked property was fully booked (we booked about 2 months in advanced and never received a notice about it) and he let us sleep in an other property for one night - In both properties there is a high lack of cleanliness. There were hairs on the floor, dead insects etc. It seemed that the housekeeping only changed the bed sheets. We even received a cover for sitting on the toilet, this can tell you a lot about the cleaning..

Probably the best place in the hood

The place is welcoming and comfy. The owner is most accommodating and is extremely friendly. He gave us a lot of useful tips about hiking routes in the national park and is generous in sharing his local knowledge. I would definitely stay again for my next visit to the national park whose beauty deserves more than one look!

It's a perfect place to explore the National Forest Park: it's located just a few minutes of walk from the main gate to the park and in the evening you'll find all you need near the hotel: restaurants, shops and street-food. It's also only a short-walk distance from the bus station which is very important If you want to go to the South gate of the park or to the Glass-bridge area. The owner of the hotel speaks English, he' s extremely polite and always willing to help! Thanks to his precious pieces of advice I organised my hiking in the Park (it's huge!) and made a one-day trip to the ancient town of Fenghuang.

Helpful owner, told us everything about our tours, recommended some close breakfast places. No charge for water, laundry. Railway Station/Airport shuttle (paid extra). Great location near street food and the National Park.

Clean, beautiful room with the perfect location for hikes & restaurants!

Perfect location, only 5min walking to the main entrance of the National Park, 10min walking to the bus station and directly in front of the daily night market which offers great food! AC worked properly and the owner provides you with all needed information for different hikes & activities - extremely helpful! Definitely try the coffee & tea place just in front of the house - lovely owners / ladies with delicious drinks!!

So convenient location, 10 mins away from the entrance. The owner was very welcomed, showed me the best way to travel in zhangjiajie. The room is clean and warm. I'm highly recommend this place 👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽

clean place. nice shower. good location. owner gave great advice about places to eat and where to go at zhangzhangjie

he has a friendly old dog (who my wife really likes). if you don’t like dogs that might not be for you.

The hotel was amazing and the owner is extremely kind and helpful.

The location was perfect. A short walk away from the ticket office for the national park. The owner, Wally, was extremely kind and helpful. I was nervous about traveling alone and he made me feel comfortable and helped me map out my trip (literally, he drew up a map and made it all seem easy and accessible). I recommend staying here. The room was clean and comfortable. Also, he has a very cute and friendly dog.

10/10 would stay again

Clean and well furnished hotel. The staff is SUPER helpful in facilitating everything we wanted to do. The hotel is located right outside the park entrance (and the Starbucks - important for early starts). Thank you wali for making our trip so enjoyable!

Big and clean rooms with a warm shower. The owner helps to plan your trip to the mountains, and the dog just makes everything so much better 😊
