Peaceful setting with a charming, well-equipped cottage that sleeps 4 comfortably and is located on a secluded and rare Lake Superior pebble beach. We are sparkling clean, wi-fi equipped, and well-behaved dog-friendly . Enjoy the beautiful Big Lake from your panoramic beach or from the deck overlooking it. This cozy retreat is just a short drive east from Grand Marais near Judge Magney State Park. Gorgeous in any season, this home sparkles from Spring to Fall with a variety of stunning flowers and foliage. Enjoy a peaceful, soul-renewing stay among the graceful northern pines, beautiful changing colors, soaring eagles and a sky full of stars. 2 bedroom, 1 bath for 4 (possibly 5) guests . We are able to accept approx 15 bookings each year during June-Oct, so if you have specific dates in mind, please contact us early. We look forward to hosting you at Twelve Mile Rock!

The property is beautiful and the stretch of the Lake Superior shoreline takes your breathe away! Our beagle had a joyful time running on the beach. We had a wonderful time relaxing on the deck and in the sunroom. So quiet and peaceful.....we booked again for the same time next year! Late September into early October.

This cottage with a private beach on Lake Superior is the perfect getaway. Everything you need and close to Grand Marais for anything you need.

It was a wonderful and comfortable home. We loved being on Lake Superior and being able to walk on the gorgeous beach. It was very serene, and the only sound was the lapping of the waves. We really appreciated that this lovely home was pet-friendly.

My wife and I came up last Saturday and stayed through Wednesday night. The property is just great and had everything we needed. We especially loved the secluded setting and having fires on the beach. It's nice and quiet yet close enough to run into Grand Marais if we needed anything. A big two thumbs up on this one!!! We'll definitely be back.
