The location is spectacular, the cabin is spacious and clean. There was everything we needed.
It would've been handy to have some basics like salt and pepper and cooking oil.

The cabins are on wonderful farmland on the southwestern edge of Scotland with beautiful views towards Ireland and the Irish sea, surrounded by sheep. There are many great things to do in the area and the hosts provide you with lots of information (including on their animals). The cabins are basic but very good value for money and it was also great to see that the farm had invested in various sustainable energy sources. I would come back.
The kitchens are well stocked but if you plan on cooking a lot yourself, I would recommend bringing some sharp knives and also some form of coffee maker.

Fantastic cabin. Superb rural location, well away from everything, in the tranquil surroundings of a lovely farm. A ten minute walk downhill along the side of the farm leads to a small, clean, quiet beach. Ample parking right at the doorstep of the cabin. Cosy rooms, good kitchen, spacious lounge, double shower cubicle with strong shower stream. Beautiful views of the farm and of the sea off the deck at the back, lovely to behold while sipping coffee in the mornings & evenings. Very warm & friendly owners who were regularly in touch before and during the stay. Good working wifi. And one of the the huge pluses as an EV owner is the presence of two medium speed chargers (22 kw) inside the farm; never needed to worry about running out of battery charge!
There was nothing at all to not like. The washing machine and dryer facility though are in a nearby portacabin and at a small extra charge; it was not an issue for us though as we had got sufficient extra clothings with us. On the whole, one the best properties that we have ever rented. Would recommend highly and without hesitation, would definitely love to go back!

The setting was stunning, the accommodation was comfortable and cosy.
Spotlessly clean and had everything we needed.
Only one small tweek to make it perfect, the bedroom blinds need to be blackout ones. It's very light early in the morning which made it difficult to remain asleep.
