Location, location, location. Take of your shoes, relax and unwind on one the beachloungers or in a hammock. One of the few places that really has its chairs on the beach. My room was small but bright. Nice hot rainshower. Staff very friendly and helpful.

The location is absolutely perfect. It is located directly on the beach, so you can eat barefoot under the stars or watch the sunrise in pyjamas. It is a quite remote place so you might feel that the beach is only there for you to enjoy it. The food menu is vast and the food is good. The boys from the Bar are very nice, funny, helpful and create a relaxed atmosphere. Thank you Joseph, Octavian and all others! We had great time with you and still listening to the music you put on. We had the family suite with balcony. The rooms are big enough and the bathroom is also very large. The ocean has several tide times so you can not count on it to take a swim at your pace. We were on trips every day. The goats from the neighbors house are sometimes pretty loud but extremely funny...they do not sound familiar at all :)

Unfortunately the fact that the location is just perfect is not sustained by the quality if the accommodation. We had lizards entering the room and a lot of ants. Even though we agree that they belong to the place, they were entering through a hole in the bathroom and it was quite uncomfortable for the children. The socket outlet were loose from the wall, the lampshades were dirty. The sheets on the bed did not seem to have been changed during our whole stay. The towels had some brown stains on them. On the outside some light fixtures were totally damaged. The breakfast was poor, did not receive not once a cocos slice or mango. The fruit platter contained 3 fruits: 1 banana,1 thin slice of watermelon, 1 slice of anannas. There were often electricity problems, which made the atmosphere at night romantic. Though there were candles every night on the tables. Nice touch!

Die Lage hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Ein wunderschöner Strand für lange Spaziergänge. Das Frühstück war lecker. Weitere Restaurants findet man in unmittelbarer Nähe.

Die Austattung ist etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Dennoch haben wir sehr gut geschlafen.

Fabulous little hideaway on the quiet side of Zanzibar. This place is perfect for anyone wanting a no frills, chill out full holiday or just a few days break. Nikki has got this place just right for those who want to taste a piece of local authentic lifestyle. For anyone wanting crisp, modern, multi-chain style (& expensive) accommodation then this place might not be for you. Blue Palm Zanzibar fits & works perfectly in its exotic & serene surroundings whereas the fore mentioned certainly would almost spoil such a place. Bwejuu & Paje are nearby (5mins taxi ride) for any essential shopping or a general mooch around/change of scenery. All in all, we would definitely recommend & hope to visit again soon.

There were a few occasions when a couple of bar staff (mentioning no specific names) could have been more attentive to the customers, especially in Nikki’s absence. No major issue.

Le calme, la plage magnifique et la gentillesse du personnel. L’ajout d’un ventilateur afin de mieux dormir .

Je suis partie plus tôt lorsque j’ai entendu la proposition d’un bungalow à un couple qui ne l’a pas accepté alors que je l’avais demandé à mon arrivée en insistant compte tenu de la petite chambre avec une salle de bain à côté ce qui n’était pas noté lors de ma réservation.
