Sadly not much. The online photos of the pool was a big draw card for us, looked great in the photos but didn’t deliver. 2 old wooden loungers with old thin squabs was your poolside comfort. The staff were very friendly & helpful. The fire pit was enjoyed. The air conditioning in upstairs bedroom. Plenty of hot water although weak shower pressure. The meals we ate there were very good.
For the money paid we expected, toiletries, a working kettle, & an oven as described in the apartment brief. Didn’t get.
Our outdoor couch area had a roof leak when it rained hence not able to relax outside much of our stay before moving on; the hammock was so old crusty & dirty, we would never use it.
The gas burner wasn’t working but after several attempts they managed to get one ring working. At least we were then able to boil water. The sheets on the bed were thin & threadbare with several rips/tears.

The staff was extremely friendly, helpful and welcoming. The swimming pool was big and mostly quiet. The plant life on the property is extremely diverse and creates a tranquil, tropical atmosphere. Our room was cleaned every day and breakfast was adequate ... fresh fruit platter, fresh juice and eggs of your choice.
The property was not on the beach, but only a short walk away. The beach was fairly dirty, scattered with trash. The tiles in the bathroom are extremely slippery and posed a risk if not careful. Staff worked extremely long hours :( The room was very basic, perhaps add bedside tables and a chair.

This property was absolutely amazing and so well kept. The staff were so friendly, extremely helpful booking excursions and taxis throughout the stay. Paje is about a 30 minute walk on the beach which we did a few times and it was very enjoyable. The property itself is extremely peaceful and a relaxing getaway. We will forsure rebook this place if we were to come back in the future. Thank you Robbie, Kalister, Hija, Vibe (one of the taxi drivers), and all the other staff for a great experience and first time to Zanzibar! Breakfast was also amazing along with the dinner.

Good pool, lots of outdoorspace to hang out safely but many smokers so not the greatest for small kids, breakfast food was good but a bit small of a portion
No AC in the rooms and 1 fan made it hard to sleep especially when power went out, mosquitos, small room for family, constant power issues on this side of the island. There is a generator onsite but needs to be manually turned on and usually doesnt get turned on until at least 20 mins after power goes out.
