This is a well situated "cottage" in Windermere with the lake a 5 minute drive or 25 minute walk. There are several rooms in the cottage. We had room 8 over-looking the back but, on checking, it was better sized that room 7 on the front.
Each room has a lock box at the entrance and you are given the code to access your room and front door keys - this made for an easy check in. There is the Brown Suger cafe/ restuarant just a few minutes walk away but I would try the hotel next door that also provides breakfast as per the Cottage room notes. I would definitely stay again. I met the host who was very friendly and charming. Car parking available at the property
I cannot think of anything. This is a practical stay with clean rooms and an easy manner. But if you want to stay at a five star hotel including the price, then this one is not for you

Great location in Windermere close to bars restaurants and shops. Brilliant communication from owners who were super helpful and quick to answer questions. Everything you need in room. Super comfortable bed (room 8)

was clean, bed was very comfortable, shower was nice temperature.
i didn’t like how the bath tub had no curtains for privacy if sharing with a friend, the radiator rail is too close to the toilet which made it uncomfortable and burnt my leg at one point.
