Located in Asheville, this attractive bed and breakfast for $137 per night is a great choice for your next trip. Just minutes from shopping, dining, entertainment and outdoor adventures, this rural retreat in the Avery’s Creek Community is a sanctuary of peacefulness. Along with the horses in the pasture you are bound to see wild turkeys and deer and hear bull frogs on summer nights. Your Private Hot Tub is on a covered porch with a spectacular view of the mountains from the spacious lounge seats. This spa hot tub features 31 jets and 2 full body seats. Your fully equipped private bungalow overlooks our private fishing pond and horse pasture. You can take a short hike on the wooded property, fish for trout, bass and brim or plan your day sipping coffee on the porch and end it sitting around a warm campfire sharing stories from your day’s adventure. This convenient location is ideal for the outdoor enthusiast. Your romantic get-away is located just 10 minutes from the Mountains to Sea Trail, water sports on the French Broad River, hiking and biking at Bent Creek and the NC Arboretum. You are 10 minutes from dining, shopping and entertainment at Biltmore Park and Sierra Nevada Brewery, 15 minutes from the airport, North Mills River National Forest Recreation Area, and the Asheville Outlet Mall and 20 minutes from West Asheville, The Biltmore Estate and Biltmore Village, the River Arts District and Downtown Asheville. Special amenities that can be arranged through the owners for an additional fee include: 1) Horse boarding for up to 2 horses during your stay. We will be happy to take you on a guided tour of some of our favorite riding trails in North and South Mills River, DuPont State Forest or Davidson River Recreation Area. 2) Guided hiking or trout fishing.

We had such a great time at the cabin. Donna was the best host we have ever had. We arrived with a personal note and sign and felt so welcomed . The cabin was so cozy with a beautiful view. The bed was one of the most comfortable beds we have slept in. We already can’t wait until we can visit again. If you plan on visiting Asheville this is a must stay place!

5/5 stars!! My husband and I stayed here for a little getaway and we were beyond satisfied. I don’t even know where to begin. This place was a slice of heaven. The host Mrs Donna and Mr Curtis were the nicest people we’ve ever stayed with. They brought us extra heaters from their home in case we got too cold in our cabin and offered for us to stay an extra day due to bad weather coming our way. They were so incredibly kind. We enjoyed the hot tub and the beautiful views as well as the hike behind their house. I would stay here again in a heart beat.

We spent our 10 year anniversary in this lovely cabin. The owners made us feel very welcome. Biltmore is about 20min away and plenty of hiking within 30min. We look forward to coming back when it’s warmer and try fishing in the pond.

We stayed at this cozy and nice cabin for our honeymoon. It’s was really quiet and clean! The hot tub was phenomenal! Had everything we wanted and was conveniently located to several attractions! Host responded when had any needs and was super nice! Definitely a great stay and honeymoon!

I stayed in this cabin for a quick weekend getaway. It was perfect and exactly as described. It was incredibly neat and clean, which is very important to me. The extremely clean hot tub was perfect after a chilly, rainy day at Biltmore Estates. The location was perfect. Private but convenient to everything. Couldn't have asked for more.

Couldn't have been a better stay! The location was a big highlight for us. Hot tub was a big selling factor when renting and it didn't disappoint! Everything was very cozy and clean. Also worth mentioning is that bed was really comfortable!
If you're looking for a spot to stay I would HIGHLY recommend this one. Hope to stay again in the future!

My husband and I stayed at Donna's cabin for our first wedding anniversary, and we really enjoyed it. The screened-in porch, scenery, and crisp mountain air were perfection. The only thing I would mention is that the owner's house is relatively close to the cabin, so if you want 100% nobody around, then I would look for another place. The owners were super nice and accommodating, I just know that sometimes people look for locations specifically for 100% privacy. Overall, we had a relaxing and fun trip!

We stayed for 3 nights, as a "Fall Long-Weekend Getaway," and enjoyed our stay in the cabin. It was the perfect distance away from it all, and also easy for us to get out and go exploring, hiking, and dining. We would definitely stay again, when in the area!

We loved this place. Only used the hot tub one night during our stay but enjoyed it. We enjoy true getaways where we're not worried a schedule or anything we have to do. That said we didn’t leave the cabin much before lunch each day. We slept in, i enjoyed my coffee on the porch with the cool mountain air and when we got ready, we roamed around a bit.
The first full-day of our stay we drove into Mills River and ate at Big Mike's BBQ for lunch then stopped by Mills River Creamery for homemade ice cream. There was a sign on their door that they would be permanently closing on October 1st due to imminent domain taking the land there for widening Haywood Rd i believe.
From there we drove towards the Asheville Outlets to grab a couple of light jackets since we didn’t pack ours then decided we wanted to grill for dinner, so off to Ingles then back to the cabin to fix dinner.
We ate at Stone Ridge Tavern before heading onto the Blue Ridge Parkway the next day, which is where we spent most of our time. The scenery is gorgeous and the weather was near perfect.
The cabin was so perfectly located for us because it was close to everything we wanted to do, but secluded enough for a true getaway.
Our only complaint was really on me. We're used to a king size bed so we didn’t sleep quite as well in this queen bed at the cabin, but that's minor at best. Like I said that was a choice i made because of the location and previous reviews. Loved this little mountain getaway.

Absolutely adorable cabin with the perfect space for our short stay! Very warm welcome, very clean and absolutely loved the screened in porch & hot tub ❤️ the property is beautiful! Wish we had time to fish in the pond. Location was very convenient to get to all of our activities - downtown Asheville, Blue Ridge parkway and Biltmore. Directions were clear and easy to follow. Hope we get back someday!!!

The property was stunning. The cabin rental is a super cozy one, from the built in screen porch, hot tub, fire pit and grill.
Most importantly was the pond, great fishing. We didnt catch a big one, so we will have to come back ;) but we caught a lot of bass :) This place is great for couples to make countless memories. Thanks for having us into your home.

We had a nice stay here! As expected, the views were nice, and it felt like a peaceful retreat. We were generally easily able to navigate from here to more than enough places in the area. In general, it felt like everything we wanted to go do (nice restaurants, downtown Asheville, tourist attractions, etc.) was about a 25-30 minute drive. There is a nice grocery store nearby which was convenient. There were nice welcome touches when we arrived at the cabin as well, and we enjoyed the hot tub.
The cabin is old which comes with its own quirks that generally are perfectly fine. The one thing we found was that the cabin was very damp, and it seemed like we couldn't get the towels we used effectively dry without placing them outside on the screened-in porch. We kept the door to the porch open a lot of the time to help with this which was fine during our stay, but I imagine in hotter months wouldn't be as tolerable. I think this could be easily mitigated with a dehumidifier.

What a gem! This cottage was perfect for our stay in Asheville. Close to everything you need while feeling miles away. The views were spectacular and the cottage was exceptionally clean and maintained. Our hosts provided several thoughtful amenities and were helpful with recommendations. We will book again!!
