The location was in the city center, very close to all the sights, restaurants and terraces, as well as shops.
The rooms are spacious, clean, featuring period elements and basic yet decent amenities.
It would have been useful to have at least two glasses and/or cups, as well as shampoo in the bathroom, not just hand soap.
Breakfast was served at a café a five-minute walk from the location; the selection was somewhat limited, but the food was fresh and tasty.
Communication with the host was quite difficult, and there was no one on-site to provide assistance, except for the cleaning staff, who were present only in the morning and spoke exclusively Italian.
An aspect that disappointed me was that the city tax charged by the host was double the amount stated in the reservation. Although the sum wasn't significant, I didn't appreciate the lack of fairness.

Zona in care este aplasat Palazzo Piccioli este superba!
Iesi din camera si poti colinda stradutele pline de farmec, poti lua masa la unul din multele localuri din jur.
Pentru ca am avut masina inchiriata am ajuns si in alte locuri:
-de la Bari am oprit la Fasano apoi la Lecce - Lecce este un must see ( ca si Matera)
-la Santa Maria di Leucca - plimbare cu barca - a fost superb!- de acolo am ajuns la Ponte Ciolo- este spectaculos!
-la Nardo si apoi la Ortranto- mi-a placut foarte mult Otranto - am ramas acolo pentru o balaceala in mare
-la mai multe plaje din apropiere: Lido Baia Verde, Lido di Sottovento - un sezlong cu umbrela =20 euro
Mic dejun minimal: o cafea si un croasant foarte bun la o terasa din apropiere. Mai puteai cumpara cate ceva, dar nu cine stie ce!
Poate pentru cei mai putin mobili, camerele de la etaj sunt mai greu accesibile, dar au ca bonus cate o terasa frumoasa

Bedden, nieuwe matrassen
Schimmel in badkamer, ook op douchekop. Vies achter douchedeur, Meneer reageert alleen tussen 12 en 20. Verder kwamen we er niet in, terwijl ik hem aan de telefoon had, totdat hij had gezien dat de betaling voldaan was en kopie documenten was gestuurd (we hadden een last minute geboekt). Hij liet dit ons op het trappetje buiten voor het hek regelen. Verder had de kamer geen faciliteiten, geen bekertjes of flesje water. Bladderende muren. Achterstallig onderhoud. Ouderwetse meubels. Foto's zijn mooier dan het in werkelijkheid is.
