Situated in North Lawrence, this lovely cabin for $339 per night is a fantastic choice for your next break. Dancing Pines is a spacious property with wonderful Black Hills views from the large deck. Within 1 mile to the lodge at Ski Mystic Deer Mountain you can be skiing and snowboarding on some wonderful terrain and only 0.4 miles from Highway 85 running to Lead/Deadwood/Sturgis and Cheyenne Crossing. 4 miles from the cabin, you can be cruising through Spearfish Canyon enjoying the wonderful waterfalls and canyon walls on your way to Spearfish. Within a 45 minute drive you can be in the central Hills enjoying Mount Rushmore, Custer State Park, Needles Highway and more! The property has 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, with a hot tub on the backyard patio covered by the spacious deck. You'll get a garage for two vehicles, and parking for your trailers with your ATV's and snowmobiles. Inside, you'll enjoy the wonderful wood craftsmanship giving you the cabin feeling of living in the Black Hills! The 4 bedrooms have two king beds, two queen beds, one full bed, and finally a twin bunk bed to sleep your group of 12. Dancing pines is absolutely stunning and was perfect for our group of 6 adults and 5 kiddos ages 1-9. Hot tubbing while overlooking the amazing black hills scenery was magical. Buddi and team were fabulous to work with and extremely responsive. We messed up and booked for a day shorter than we had planned for and the team bent over backwards to help accommodate us. The location was the perfect location for all the activities we planned. We would highly recommend this property.

Overall, the cabin was beautiful. However, when we got there, there was no hand soap, dish soap and minimal garbage bags and it was not disclosed to us that there was no air conditioning in the house. We wanted to use the hot tub and wanted to make sure it was chemically treated and there were no test strips anywhere in the house. We did reach out to the owner and they did respond within a reasonable amount of time. They did not provide test strips but told us that the hot tub was treated prior to our check-in and that it was safe to use. Overall, we did enjoy our stay but wish the unit was stocked better. We did run out of toilet paper the last day we were there as well. I would stay again if I knew the place would be better stocked with necessities. For the price we pay to rent the unit, I feel things like soap, garbage bags, and toilet paper should be stocked up.

The hill going up to the cabin should have had gravel on it. Our 30 ft trailer and pickup slid back and hit a retainer wall and damaged it. A good samaritan that lived nearby helped us out. When we left, the trip back down that same hill was no better. The cabin was very nice and we liked the use of the garage. The shower head upstairs was broke and the one downstairs dripped. The stools by the island are too tall for the island. Just little things that needed attention.

This is a beautiful home, everything was very clean inside, and it was perfectly located for the places we wanted to go. I would not recommend for anyone coming with more then one trailer, I was very clear and even sent an extra message about parking at least a 44ft trailer. Upon arrival it was very clear it would not fit along with all the other families vehicles, I tried contacting Budi but she was not around and had bad service in spearfish, however she could text but she was not understanding what I was asking so we put our trailer in at an angle, one or families had to park in a lot across the road, he left a note for the owner to contact him, he was willing to pay to park there since the rental wouldn't fit him. He was then threatened to be towed by Budi, who doesn't own the property he was parked at, he was able to move down to the wonderful resort at the bottom of the hill. All of these things could have been easily avoided with better communication, I was never able to personally talk to the host which would have been helpful. I would also say that the outside is poorly cared for as the are mounds of dirt and rocks, that are not landscaping. I would recommend that the property puts out a manual of rules and restrictions, while we recieved one through email, sometimes things get lost and misplaced and to alleviate any information get missed by any of the guests.
I know I will get a sharp response from the host and that is fine I just hope that maybe you will market your property properly and work on your communication the day of check in .

Wonderful stay, beautiful house!! The only thing missing was AC ...when we stayed it was 90-100+ degrees for 5 days and the property does not have AC or WI-FI.....it was not listed as an amenity but the week we were there it would have been nice to have ☺️....it did cool down at night though...Cabin was very clean, spacious,(we had 9 people) well stocked with everything you need for cooking (storage containers, pots, pan, crockpot, utensils etc). Would definitely stay again! BEAUTIFUL LOCATION!
