Very pleasant
Having to duck so as not to hit your head on the sloping roof when walking by the bottom of the bed.

Comfortable big bed with heavy-like duvets. We had #218 which was a big room.
First of all this is not a boutique hotel. A big disappointment was the spa was only open from 4-7. The spa was across the street! Room was very cold. It seems as if reception sets the temperature which was an issue. We had to ask them many times to raise the temperature. The windows were not great as you could see the curtains moving with the draft. The room was in an old part of the hotel and frankly the rooms and hallways were not in good condition. Room was ok. Creepy figures in the room. Reception staff were not terribly friendly. There were a number of ways to get to our room: very steep stairs or a series of up and down stairs throughout the building. Elevator old and needed repair and servicing. It was two years out of date. I would maybe consider staying in one of the newer rooms in the back of the hotel.
