The staff were really welcoming and helpful and the reception area was smart and cool. The breakfast area and the garden were delightful and we had a spacious junior suite with a little balcony onto the street which allowed a view of the sea. It was a good location for visiting Heraklion. Parking was provided at the rear.
At the start of the season, there wasn't a great choice of restaurants nearby (we would have had the hotel meal both nights if we had known how good they were).

Very friendly staff, nice garden. The really lovely ladies at the reception unfortunately cannot make up for the negative experience at this hotel.
Never before have I given such a bad rating for an accommodation.
Unfortunately an absolute rip-off and nightmare. Why? Well, to name just a few points:
- musty, damp room
- Worn out mattresses
- Outdated, damaged and dirty furniture
- Bathroom even mustier than the room, garnished with drain flies. Shower only worked sparingly. Worn out furniture and missing drain plug
They say you get what you pay for...not in this case. 92 EUR for a room like this is simply outrageous. If the pictures the hotel used online for the superior double room we booked had even remotely matched the reality, we would never have booked. We raised this extreme discrepancy at reception and apart from a few excuses that there were several rooms in the hotel, there was no explanation for the criticism. The explanation also lacked any logic. Of course, rooms can differ from one another, but there are simply WORLDS between the room booked and the room received. I assume that the hotel assigns the unacceptable rooms to all guests who do not stay there for more than one night, otherwise I cannot explain the many positive reviews here.
The accommodation was booked because of the proximity to the airport, we actually wanted to spend a few relaxing hours here. We ultimately decided to spend most of our time outside the room as we couldn't breathe well in the room due to the stale air and only slept for 2 hours before departure (also due to extreme noise in the middle of the night in the hotel corridor).
Better book somewhere else, even in this area you get considerably (!) better rooms for the prices called.

The best thing about this property are the staff who are extremely warm and hospitable, and the location. It is next to the beach (I could hear the ocean from my balcony) and a bus stop which makes access to Heraklion extremely convenient. The room I booked was comfortable, clean, and had plenty of storage. I was supposed to stay for 5 nights and would have been happy to do so, but was offered a complimentary upgrade to the nearby Hotel Malena (part of Omilos Hotels).
I was there during the off season, so many things were closed for the season (no fault of the property, just something to be aware of).

The girl working on reception is exceptional!!
The bed was comfortable. The breakfast was reasonable.
The hotel is advertised as accessible but there's a huge step to get to breakfast / garden /car park.. In my parents' room there was a gigantic step to access the clothes rail at the back of the wardrobe so my mum was unable to hang her clothes up. Missing tiles in the corridor on the second floor are a trip hazard!! The bathroom needs renovating. Rusty shower cabin track

Beautiful place, relaxing, like being in the paradise. 50m from a very nice beach. Amazingly kind and careful staff!!! They had smile all the time and solved everything.

Not much. The facility is in a bad condition!
But the staff is friendly!
The property looks like it needs a lot of maintenance. The bedroom and bathroom is very very simple, damaged and not clean. The facility is old. It did not add value for the money.

Very nice garden with pool which is ideal for relaxation. Staff is very nice and helpfull. And the see is very close, about 50 meters from the garden.

Staff amazing and nothing was too much trouble. Near the beach. Easy parking. Good breakfast selection. Comfortable beds. Quiet area.
Room wasn't superior at all. Literally a small sea view. Stank of smoke so had to be moved to the next floor down. The new room was OK however the bathroom wasn't pleasant. Old sink unit with peeling paint and mould. Shower had mould and hairs in it. Under the beds hadn't been cleaned for some time. Garden needed a good weeding. Sunbeds grubby with dirty mouldy water collecting in the grooves.

The hotel is located almost next from the beach.The room was clean and cosy and it had a lovely balcony with amazing views.The breakfast was rich and the food that I tried were well cooked and tasty.My only suggestion is to add allergen food labels to the different dishes .The staff were all very polite and welcoming.They were willing to help us with all our enquiries and they gave us directions on the local shops and public transportation.
The only negative thing is that the pool was opened to people that they weren't staying at the hotel so most of the time it was occupied from kids that their parents treated the area like a playground and with no respect to the other visitors.The one of the two jacuzzi was broken down from a group of kids the previous day.Most of them were loud and they were throwing water everywhere. The hotel should change the open pool policy or at least establish clear rules for the people that use the pool area.

The staff are lovely. Family business, so always try to help their guests. Rooms always spotless. Shower gel and shampoo always provided. Pool area is lovely. There are plenty of sun loungers. The garden has lots of seating in shaded areas as well which is pleasant. There are games available for adults or children. Lovely outside bar area. Lovely breakfast, lots of choices.

On first look the Garden area appears to let down the facilities, in fact if the path-weeds were dealt with, the overall appearance would be much better (and it is a garden after all!)

The Hôtel experience made it prefect for us to enjoy Crete. The beach, some restaurants and a supermarket were so close. The staff were very friendly and sweet. We even liked George the cat. Fantastic family experience for us.

The hotel was amazing value for money and the location was very convenient with a supermarket up the road and a bus stop. We stayed in a lovely room, with an amazing view of the pool area and the beach. The breakfast was good and the staff were top tier! A special thanks to Sophia who made our stay extra special. She was friendly and super helpful in recommending restaurants and helping us plan day trips to other parts of the island.
The bathroom does have a stained glass door which is somewhat transparent and non-private.

We really enjoyed our stay in this hotel. The stuff was very welcoming and kind. The room were clean, with nice with to the beach which was like far 1 minut a walk. Also bus stop and supermarket was like 1 minute walk away. We had breakfast and dinner, amazing food. We need to come back soon, unfortunately it was too cold for a pool or sea so we have to come back and try it. Thank you for an amazing stay!♥️
Everything here was amazing. We would maybe expect dinner as a buffet so we could choose our dinner, but it was okay too. But we understand that we were the only hosts who had dinner at this time, so it was better to cook meal just for us.

Thank you so much to Elizabeth and Sophia. You ladies were brilliant! The hotel has adorable mascots (George the Cat and Chloe the doggo). The pool and downstairs spaces were really nice, despite there being a construction going on. The housekeeper lady was such a sweetheart.
Rooms weren't as modern as advertised (had strong cigarette smell in both rooms). The rain shower head needs replacing. The double bed request wasn't met. The AC system was broken, but a heater was provided. The maintenance man left the room a mess trying to sort out the AC but didn't fix it in the end, but thankfully, Elizabeth sorted the mess out. The receptionist on check out was a bit patronising. We ordered food from outside, which we did the whole stay, not knowing there was in-house catering apart from breakfast and was told by said receptionist that it wasn't allowed but she was allowing it for that instance. We ordered coffee from her, where she asked my gf to stand by her while making it, only to then tell her to go wait by the table for her to bring it over when it was ready. Weird vibes.

This was our second stay in this lovely hotel. The staff are very welcoming, friendly and helpful. Everything was perfect for our overnight stay, including the varied and delicious breakfast, which we ate in the beautiful garden beside the pool. We will definitely stay there again next time we are in Heraklion.
