It was lovely to have access to tea, coffee and treats in the communal area.

The place was quiet and nice, and the staff did help us in the end, they made our stay better for the second night.
We had no electricity for over 12 hours during our first night. I didn't like that they weren't ready to help with the problem, even though staff knew it could happen, I was told "the house is old, so this kind of thing might happen." I'm not blaming anyone, but if you know something might happen, you should have someone ready to fix it 24/7, or at least an immediate alternative.

Nice front room with comfortable couches and magazines
The bicycles were in bad repair. The carpet needed cleaning. The drinks were completely overpriced. For example, €18 for a tiny bottle of Prosecco.
Breakfast was also overpriced at €19.
