The staff were wonderful. Always smiley and helpful. It was a joy to see so many young local staff who were very customer focused. The location was great for us accommodation was very comfortable. The breakfast was 1st class in quality and service. The attached cafe continued the overall quality feel of the place.
Room could have done with an extra bin. The shelf obove the sink makes washing your face awkward.

The hotel is a converted farmhouse with an additional restaurant that was a converted barn. All the food was local grown and extremely fresh. The surroundings are a series of agricultural reserves and manicured small farms. The experience was “otherworldly” in that it took you to old world holland, but with modern features and bike rentals to ride through along the canals, farm fields, and parks.

It was a characterful (rustic) B&B in a good location - we walked into Delft and back once (that was a lot of walking when added to walking round Delft); on a second trip into Delft, we parked in the free car park the hotel suggested, reducing the extra walking. Although there was no fridge in the room, there was a communal fridge for guests which worked well. The bedroom was exceptionally large with a good table and chairs at one end.
The room was south-facing but only had one window which barely opened, so it was always too hot making it hard to sleep. We were offered a fan on the third night; it made a small difference. Breakfast was rather hit-and-miss: we tended to get there after other guests and supplies were not fully replenished so we may have missed out - possibly because there weren't enough staff. There wasn't much choice anyway (e.g. either strawberry or apricot jam).
