Rooms were a good size. Pool area was great, lots of sun loungers and choice of two pools. Always got a sunbed. Breakfast was amazing - so much choice! The downstairs entertainment area was nice, lots of comfy chairs and live music on every night. The hotel was a good location. There was a bus stop right outside to get to Lapad/old town and there was a nice scenic walk down to lapad (about 20mins) but we had to find it ourself
Coffee choice at breakfast and in the room was very poor. There was no water available - a member of the gym coach staff told me I couldn’t fill up my water in the gym as there wouldn’t be enough for other guests. Considering the amount you pay to stay in the hotel I thought this was a joke.

My wife and daughter recently stayed at Valamar Argosy hotel and had absolutely amazing experience.
The vies are trully breathtaking and cleanliness of the hotel is top-notch.
They had half board option which was great value for money with great variety of options.
The hotel staff were exceptionally polite, professional and attentive.
We booked a round trip aerport transfer through the hotel's partner company but it was not a better choice.
It was overpriced 52 euro from aerport to the hotel and they (transport company) absolutely ignored our specific request, plus the driver was 30mn late at the aerport.
Better choice bolt or uber, much cheaper.

Breakfast buffet was incredible with a lot of choices, the 2 infinity pools overlooking the ocean always had at least one chair open, and the bed / pillows were SO comfortable.

Direct access to bus station.. multiple beaches & park
Not well maintained.. although its a 4 stars premium hotel they dont provide the basics in the room like water.. they even charge you for using the sun loungers.. staff are a bit aggressive & always pushy
