The rooms were amazing, and the reception and staff were fantastic throughout our stay. Everyone was friendly, welcoming, and very helpful.
The facilities were exceptional, and there were also some great restaurant options just a short walk away. I believe there were around four waterfront restaurants nearby, which made the location even better.
Overall, we had a wonderful stay and were very impressed with the hotel, the service, facilities, and dining options. I would definitely stay here again!

The resort of several "Royal" hotels has a quality polished feel, and it's great being able to use all of the facilities. Large, comfortable room well equipped as expected at this price point. Breakfast was very nice, part buffet with service (full English was good). Seafront location is lovely, with terraced pools, restaurants and sun loungers.
Arriving, we took the direct number 7 bus from the Ferry port, but Uber would be only 7mins. Bus stop is 50m from reception, with (very hot 25min) direct service to the old town. Leaving, we had pre-booked via the hotel a car transfer to the airport which was very professional and comfortable.
Staff were great including advance comms on WhatsApp. Concierge was very helpful recommending an excellent restaurant (Port 22) for our evening in town.
Having checked out at 11, we were able to leave our luggage at reception and use the facilities until our transfer later that afternoon. Food (e.g. club and chicken sandwiches) in the resort is well priced and great quality.
We stayed in a "Deluxe Family Room" consisting of 2 double beds - our family of 2 + 2 teens isn't unusual, so having the teens share a bed is not ideal at their age. Offering single beds would save so much trouble.
The rooms could do with a few (working) USB ports - so many gadgets in the family.

Great location, easy to get to downtown and anywhere else. Very pretty marble and glass interior. The rooftop pool is beautiful, we didn’t visit any of the others but it’s great to have so many pool options onsite.
This is a hotel that photographs as expensive but is really more of a Holiday Inn- the small things that make a property actually high end were missing (quality food onsite, nice sheets and pillows, etc). The carpet on our room had lots of stains, there were only two pillows on each bed total, and the hairdryer in the room was one of those cheap foldable travel ones. The one restaurant we tried was fine, but left us with little desire to try the others. In short, this place is fine as long as you calibrate your expectations.
