Aangenaam verblijf met zeer vriendelijk personeel

In de badkamer was maar weinig ruimte om een aantal toiletartikelen te plaatsen

Location was nice, room standard but pleasant as was the entrance and staff and food

For the rate we paid, would have expected an exceptional room but it was a little tired. The free mini bar as part of the deal was just 3 small bottles of soft drink and nothing else.

Central hotel with good breakfast

Central location in Oostende, close to the beach. Quite modern design. Good and varied choice for breakfast. Bed was satisfactory but cushion was difficult.

The room was small, view from window was towards windows across a very small yard. AC/ventilation was noisy, could not be switched off until late in the evening.

Excellent staff on reception

Location, friendly and cooperative staff on reception, quite and comfortable rooms

Room cleaning only by request. Too poor quality cleaners. Absolutely inadequate cleaning staff. They really can enter in your room independent of label on door and your voice request.

A very pleasant and interesting stay with very nice people.

Breakfast was excellent. The situation in the town was super. The staff were very helpful and pleasant.

Unfortunately the room was just too small. The shower room was miniature. The room size would prevent us from returning to the hotel again.

The room was connected to another room by door and two nights I could hear a person talking and caughing so I could not sleep properly.The breakfast box for 18 EUR including one sandwich a 2 mini croissants was a joke.

Ostendis lovely, and makes it feel very Christmassy

everything was to our expectations

if I had to have a negativity it would be the heating was cold to us but our families room was really warm, we didn’t try to have it looked at so should not complain

Vastly overpriced, very disappointing and little value for money.

Comfortable beds with supportive mattresses and pillows.

There was very little value for money. The cost was very high, as I booked late but for 624 euros, I expected, entirely reasonably, that everything would be tip top. We arrived at 16h, having informed the hotel we would be coming between 15h and 16h. Our room was not ready at 16h. The receptionist made no apology and when I asked what the problem was, she told me it was 'because the cleaners start on the ground floor and work up'. This is not acceptable. Our room was a 'privilege room with balcony'. In fact, since the cleaners are instructed to do the top floor last and we lost an hour of our our stay, we had anything but a privilege from being on an upper floor during our stay. The receptionist also recommended that 'we look around town and do everything you would like to do', while the room was cleaned. I do not go to hotels to be told what we can do by the receptionist who tries to put a positive spin on us not being allowed to gain access to our room until the very late hour of 17h. On the second day, we returned to our room at 16h but it had not been cleaned. The cleaners were on our floor at that time, doing other rooms. They told me they had forgotten to do ours. We then had to vacate the room for it to be cleaned, despite wanting to stay in it. This was very inconvenient on booth days. Housekeeping management needs improving. The room is billed as a no smoking room both on booking's website and on a sign on the room's door and yet there was an ashtray in the room. There is little point in paying the extra money for a balcony. All one can see from the balcony, which is dirty and depressing, is a courtyard and the flats opposite. Breakfast was disappointing. The bread was terrible, the croissants on our second morning were stale.

Breakfast was good. The staff was quite friendly. The location was conveniently in the main thorough fares.

The passage way was too narrow. The lift didn't work well. The bedroom too small. The fridge was empty.
