Really lovely staff on bar, reception and room service. They couldn’t have done more. On that alone, we’d stay again.
The listings are incorrect for child access to the facilities. Also there’s no way of adding an under 1 year old without increasing the cost, even though it says they stay free.
It also stated somewhere that children eat free. We subsequently got charged.

The breakfast was excellent, with a fantastic choice and something for everyone. There was a great selection of cereals, toast and spreads, fresh fruit and yogurts, along with plenty of continental options. For those wanting something hot, there was a full cooked breakfast with vegan choices too, and you could also order freshly prepared options such as poached eggs, eggs Benedict and porridge. There was a good selection of fruit juices, including orange and pineapple, as well as plenty of tea and coffee.
The breakfast area itself was lovely, with plenty of comfortable seating and a really pleasant, picturesque setting. It was a very nice environment to sit, relax and enjoy breakfast.
The only downside for us was the price of the breakfast. At £16.99 per person when added at check-in, we felt this was quite expensive, particularly as breakfast wasn’t included in the room rate and would have cost even more if we had decided to add it the following morning. Although the choice and quality were excellent, not everyone has a large appetite or eats enough to justify the full price. It would be nice if breakfast were included with certain room rates, offered at a reduced price for hotel guests, or if there were a cheaper, lighter breakfast option available for those with smaller appetites.

Everything
I paid by clearly but also had to pay on arrival. Still need a refund- this is poor communication from booking.com to the property

Great location, clean ample sized room, good breakfast, very friendly staff
Had to argue to get advertised free child meals included. Final bill confusing. Food was over engineered and relentllessly spicy, even the childs humous had chilli flakes in it so not eaten
