Nearly everything, particularly the staff. Lots to do in the local area, lots of other places to eat. Central location, near to local shopping centre, great transport links. Cleaning, bar, restaurant and particularly reception staff are great.
Introduction of "stealth tax on parking", £10 per night in a non linear reducing scale dependant on how many nights you stay. It IS mentioned in the small print but you have to look for it. No biscuits in the room, reduced food menu, basically the management are following the shrinkflation approach i.e. you get less for the same price. Town centre was really quiet on Friday PM and Saturday AM, area feels like the current government approach to finance is taking its toll.

The room itself was clean but the shower tiles were very dirty. The lighting was very poor.

Easy to find, plenty of parking. Clean comfortable rooms. Friendly approachable staff.
Good breakfast, plenty of choice, fresh and tasty.
No EV Charging facilities on site
Friday night was noisy, possibly as our room was directly above the bar area.
Breakfast on Saturday morning felt rushed. Drinks cleared away before we had finished eating; so couldn’t get a top brew. Wasn’t like that on the Friday morning and Saturday was much busier.

Room was lovely and comfortable
Bar and dining area were very basic and sadly understaffed either long wait times between dinner courses. Food was equivalent to bar food jit what would be expected firm a 4* hotel.
