The grounds were lovely and the downstairs. I found the bed comfortable.
The toilet was in the open plan bathroom in the superior room meaning that if I didn’t have a close relationship with my partner I do now!
Some of the facilities needed updating but for what we paid it was pleasant enough.

Beautiful cosy hotel perfect for a wedding or any other type of get together. Excellent service at hreakfast with good produce served.
Although we didn't have an exceptional view it would have been nice to be able to see at least some of the lovely grounds outside. However the only negative I would make is that the window was so dirty we couldn't see out.

Not bad value for the money, friendly staff, convenient location
uncomfortable bed, room needs at least basic refurbishment as it looked very tired. Could also do with some cleaning. The hash brown in my breakfast was not freshly cooked but just reheated.
