Really lovely, helpful and kind staff. Great atmosphere in the pub and a good dinner menu in the restaurant. Very quiet, perfect for a good nights sleep.

The staff folks - at check in, bartender, wait staff for dinner and breakfast were excellent! Food was very good!!
The internet didn't quite reach our room. Room was a wee bit cold - the radiator didn't pump out enough heat!

The location is great for hiking, the pub and restaurant serve delicious food, most of the rooms face the river outside so if you crack open your windows you can go to sleep with the sound of the river running. They also have a quiet upstairs area with plenty of seating for reading or working.

Great location. Very clean. Excellent shower pressure. Lovely tradition bar. Good Guinness.
The furnishings are tired. Very dated. The breakfast was very average. A bit too greasy. Shame there was no self serve buffet.
