Good value for money, not too far from city center

Don't judge this hotel "by its cover": from the outside the hotel looks a bit greasy, and while the building is indeed old, inside it is well-kept and clean. The rooms were spacious (in part thanks to the high ceilings), the beds relatively comfortable, and the breakfast was good (in a quaint and lovely restaurant room). The hotel is at walking distance from the historical city center.

There was a lot of noise from the street, and the rooms couldn't be darkened very well. It was also very hot, but there was a heat wave during our stay, so the circumstances were pretty challenging.

Very good

Pleased with our stay. Very friendly and helpful staff. Very good buffet breakfast. Great parking directly outside the hotel. Centre around 15 mins walk, which was fine. We would definitely stay here again.

Given the hot weather, it would have been great to have had air conditioning although a fan was provided in the room. Our room overlooked the busy road and would ask for one on the quieter side next time.

Wonderful place in Sibiu

Breakfast was awesome. Wifi was good. The exhaust fan was faulty, on informing at the reception, they fixed it. Location was good, only 20mins walk from Historical center and station. From the window, you can see the mountains. The house has a vintage feeling.

The size of blanket was small. Needed a mirror in the bedroom.

I made a reservation, but then I got a message that the reservation was not able to be fulfilled. They gave me a full refund, but I had to learn on my own how to navigate the app to get a full refund without charging me the cancelation fee.

The host could not help me navigate on how to get a refund after I made a booking.

Exceptional

We are very pleased with our stay at Sonne hotel. Breakfast was very good. The staff was very friendly and we will come back again. Hotel Sonne is also close to the historic city center which is good for exploring the city.

TRIP TO SIBIU

Our room at the hotel was spacious and clean, the price we paid (190 RON/night, breakfast included) was fair and the staff was really nice. 🍳

Very good

Surprisingly quiet room despite window into a busy street (seems that they have good sound isolation). Supermarket next door. Gas station across the street. Free street parking.

Room 7 has small shower cabin, when placed on the holder shower spills over your head and even over the cabin's wall straight into the bathroom.
