The hotel is in a quiet part of the island, but is within walking distance from the harbor and the shops and restaurants and there is a swimming pool and a private parking place if someone would arrive by car.
The rooms are very clean and well kept and have all the ammenities that are required, including a good airco system.
In the morning there is an excellent breakfast and the two evenings we were there we had an excellent meal in the restaurant.
The staf is very friendly, efficient and helpful to give information.
In short: one of the best hotels we had on Sicily and Vulcano.

Everything was excellent. The location was just 1,000 meters from the city center and 300 meters from the Black Beach. It was quiet and peaceful. The facilities were well maintained, clean, and had plenty of open space. Our balcony faced the swimming pool area, which was also a very pleasant place to spend the day. The staff was friendly and helpful. For breakfast, you could always find a variety of food choices, including freshly made omelettes with cheese or ham.

It was off-season, so not much was open on the beaches.

restaurant staff the waiter was rude. no shelter for the pool, we asked if we could have a parasol by the pool as we were the only people at the pool and were rudely told NO
