Hotel Alga

The hotel was beautifully positioned with a wonderful view from our room over the swimming pool and then the sea. The common parts were lovely and spacious. It was a 5 minute walk to the beach which was not long but a steepish hill on the way back. The room was very comfortable and the air conditioning worked well. The hotel grounds were beautiful with lots of seating areas and there was always shade under the trees. The bar area served very good lunches and drinks all day. The pool was large and clean but was rather late opening at 11am. I would have liked a swim before breakfast. We did not use the padel court or the gym. The staff were really friendly and helpful and Rafa in particular was outstanding. We ate in the restaurant most nights - the food was very good but perhaps it didn't have much of an atmosphere. We both really enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend the hotel.

The hotel is set in beautiful gardens and is a great location. The food at breakfast was delicious and catered for all tastes, and an evening dinner was outstanding. Our stay was relaxing and enjoyable because the hotel was so good.

Beautiful setting, fabulous pool area, very clean, great staff we loved our stay!

The hotel was very clean and the staff were friendly. The staff in general were very polite and helpful when we required taxis etc.

The pool bar staff, although friendly enough always seemed pre-occupied. On one occasion we had to order our food three times as it kept being missed to be put through the till and then had to chase multiple times after it actually went through!
