The location was beautiful and the staff was friendly. It was properly maintained and the overall experience was great.
The separate buildings can be an issue when it is raining.

The room was very clean and comfortable.
The dining area had a great atmosphere, and the dinner buffet was delicious with a wide variety of tasty options.
The breakfast was wonderful as well.
During our one-week trip around Iceland, we stayed at many different places, but this hotel was by far the most comfortable.

Breakfast was good. Rest was average
Check-in staff and owners were quite rude and not really helpful. There was no staff to help you with luggage to your room with monsoon being there. Accessibility to Breakfast area from room should be more thought about with heavy rains one may not want to get wet or drenched.
I don't think we could get water to our room or food. there seemed no staff at all.
