No lift for buggy users with kids , hard to use bath in room because shower wall in way of taps so very hard to control temperature , you have to stand in bath to be able make sure not to hot I learned that mistake by burning my foot

Good breakfast with choice of Full English or Continental. The Full English was also hot and cooked to order rather than standing on a hot plate and only being lukewarm.
A very comfortable bed.
The bedroom chair had a damaged leg and felt unsafe to sit on. I am awaiting hip replacement surgery and did not want to risk the chair collapsing under me and ending up on the floor. The chair was changed as soon as I reported it.
Later, before going to bed, I was sitting on the toilet and the seat suddenly moved sideways due to it being loose and in need of tightening. I feel the damaged chair and loose toilet seat should have been identified and put right by the staff during routine daily cleaning.
The rooms appear very "tired". The bedroom furniture is serviceable but very dated. The wallpaper behind the bed is torn in places and also loose and peeling in places. The bathroom wash basin is modern but the bath has chipped enamel. The shower is over the bath which has high sides making it difficult to get into (particularly with a bad hip).
