We booked at short notice, and the staff were super friendly and allowed us an early check-in. The hotel is great, it has everything you need, and is very local.

The bed was comfortable and the shower functional. The location was convenient.
The lighting was nice.
We were expecting to stay in the actual hotel with red timber you see in the pictures. Instead we were hosted in a very plain building across the road. It felt and looked like a slightly run down Ibis hotel inside.
The TV didn't work.
There was no fridge in the room despite it being mentioned in the room description, a note on the desk only said you could ask reception (in the building across the road) if you wanted them to store cold food for you. Highly inconvenient.
There were no hooks in the bathroom to hang towels (you could see badly filled in holes in the wall where some might have previously been) and only one set of towels got changed when the room was made, leaving the other towels hanging from the doors where we had attempted to let them dry.
Everything seemed like an add on, the booking said parking but we didn't realise it meant the hotel had a parking but it wasn't included in the room and would be another 25 euros per day to park there. We called reception ahead of arrival to ask about alternative parking spots in the city and they said apart from the equally expensive covered parkings it was almost impossible to find one. We arrived in the city and found a free parking spot in 5min (15min walk from the hotel though admittedly but there were some closer). The breakfast was about 16 euros for a pastry and a drink, which would have been worth less than 5 euros anywhere else in the city.
It was just disappointing and expensive for what it was. Would not recommend.
