Location excellent. 5 minutes walk to the Train station. 5 minutes walk to the Altstadt.
Slight faff with the key. Code to get it out of the key drop. You have to insert it 'upside down' to get into the property - I needed help from a friendly member of staff.

The building is a bit dated, and the shower is very small. I liked the hard matras and the clean room, and the breakfast was sufficient. Everything was very clean!
Even though you are 500 meters away from the city centre, you have to pass by homeless people/junkies which is a bit intimidating at night, especially as a women alone.

Due to KLM's first initial flight being late, I missed my initial connection to Bremen. I should have been at the property around 6pm. However, KLM sent me to Bremen via Munich (!) as that was the only flight connections that would have got me there. I got to the hotel around 11:30pm to find 6-7 drug addicts using the light from the entrance as a way to see their veins. There were a plethora of spoons, lighters and, what looked like, a shared needle! What a lovely greeting. I eventually got into the area to collect my key from the lock-up box and got into my room as quick as I could. I placed a chair against the door in case the drug addicts found a way into the building. Not a great night's sleep as it was mostly listening to the drug addicts outside arguing for the first hour or so.
