We really loved our stay here! The location was fantastic, just a short walk from the train station. The staff were incredibly kind and welcoming. The receptionist was especially lovely — she personally showed us to our room and even carried our luggage for us. It was such a thoughtful gesture and made us feel very welcome from the moment we arrived.
My only concerns were the flies in the breakfast area. There were quite a lot of them around the food, which wasn’t very pleasant to see. Also, there was no elevator, only stairs, which could be inconvenient for guests with heavy luggage or mobility difficulties.

Close proximity to station and relative price.
A bit smaller room but had everything you needed and clean. A bit close to the trains and need to keep the windows locked.

Very convenient location, close to everything you need — the train station, restaurants, shops, cable car, and bus connections to other cable cars. The staff were very helpful, kind, and friendly, with a great sense of humour. Special thanks to Jesica, who went above and beyond to help us during our stay. We really appreciated her kindness and assistance!
Don’t bring heavy luggage, as there are stairs to the second floor. However, Jesica did a fantastic job helping us carry our heavy luggage up the stairs all by herself. She is an incredibly strong and helpful lady, and we really appreciated her assistance!

The double room space was ok and a family can move around if there are no luggage lying around. The breakfast was quite nice with eggs, toast and cheese. There is a Coop on the ground floor, to make grocery shopping easier.
When you book the double room, the rooms are in a different location (1 minute walk across the main road) than the reception/breakfast area. That means, the mountain view is kind of missing . There was a big wall next to one of the windows, not a mountain view. The reception could be nicer. There are no lifts and have to take the stairs to go up the third floor.
While doing the check-in, their magnetic swipe reader could not fetch my passport details, instead of manually typing (which I eventually protested to do on-behalf of them) they were bending the passport pages and swiping back and forth multiple times. What if they just tore my passport bio-data page just to fill in my name?
