Aussen hui - innen pfui

Traumhafter Ausblick auf die Ägäis. Vorgelagerte Terrasse und hoteleigener Parkplatz.

Der Duschraum etwas in die Jahre gekommen, viel zu klein und zu niedrig - ein kleines Waschbecken in einer ca. 55cm breiten Nische, keine Ablagemöglichkeiten, keine Handtuchhalter, eine Raumentlüftung habe ich vergeblich gesucht. Die Schiebetür der Dusche hat laufend geklemmt und war auch etwas undicht, was echt lästig war. Kein Wasserkocher im Zimmer. Das Frühstück wurde in einem mit Folie überzogenen Tablett am Buffet bereitgestellt und hatte nicht unseren Erwartungen entsprochen. Der Preis dafür lag aber auch bei € 5,00. Obwohl wir vorab 12 Portionen Frühstück bezahlt hatten, haben wir nur 2x Frühstuck konsumiert. Beim Auschecken wurde uns mitgeteilt, dass eine Refundierung nicht möglich wäre da wir bereits mit Kreditkarte bezahlt hätten. Um unangenehme Diskussionen an der Rezeption zu vermeiden mussten wir den finanziellen Verlust in Kauf nehmen. Wir waren im november da - kann ja sein, dass es in der Hauptsaison besser läuft. Also: Bezahlt niemals im Voraus!!! Noch etwas: Es ist mir absolut unverständlich warum die türkischen Strände so mit Plastikabfällen vermüllt sind. Das war bei meinem Besuch 2019 nicht anders. Ich nehme mal an der kommt nicht vom Nachbarn vis a vis. Leider werden die schönsten Strände immer mehr verbaut und dadurch für die Allgemeinheit unzugänglich gemacht. Echt schade!

Had a great stay at the Hotel Sunday Beach. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. I booked a sea view room and it was worth it. Nice to have a quiet space to relax. The location is at the end of the beach so close to taxis and a grocery store.

Fantastic hotel and staff, beautiful quiet location. Fabulous.

Sunday Beach Hotel was a fantastic place to stay; just over an hour's drive from Izmir airport located a stone's throw away from a beautiful sandy beach with numerous restaurants and market shops close by. The rooms were kept spotlessly clean as housekeeping was daily with fresh towels and bedding changed almost every day and slippers provided to wear in the room which were replaced a couple of times throughout the stay was a lovely touch. The bed was lovely and comfortable. The staff at this hotel were just fantastic! Extremely helpful, friendly and nothing was too much trouble, just could not ask for any better.

The room, more so the bathroom could be bigger as it was quite small and the pillows could be more comfortable as they were a little hard.

The location because it is near the beach and you can admire the sunset and the sunrise from the balcony.

I didn't like the fact that although when I made the reservation it was mentioned that the room will be paid at the hotel, they tried to withdraw my money from my account before having arrived there and because I had no money on that account, they had cancelled my reservation 5 minutes before my arrival, although we had previously stayed in this hotel 3 or 4 times before, so they should have checked at least that before cancelling the reservation.

The only nice thing about this property was the location. It is just in front of ladies beach. The rooms were quite small and uncomfortable. The cleanliness was somewhat missing, maybe due to the beach front.

The location of the hotel is perfect, easy access and just at the beach. It was clean. The staff were very nice and helpful.

Very clean and nice hotel. Sea view is amazing! Friendly staff.

Coffee is not free. In the morning there are some loud construction works.
