The location was excellent within walking distance to the town. The breakfast was also excellent. Probably the best breakfast during our tour of Ireland

The flowers and courtyard were beautiful. Damien, host, was welcoming and not intrusive but helpful. Breakfast was delicious, generous, well served, hot tea and coffee, great cakes and pastries. Didn't have time for cooked breakfast but loved what we had and took some bread and cake for later...
I didn't love our lodge and I think I'd have enjoyed 5he main house more. But there was nothing wrong with the lodge, very comfortable. Except the shower and toilet was very tiny and cramped. Fine for one night as that was all we had there but for longer stay would be inadequate
