New Hotel Colon

The hotel is very charming, the staff is very friendly and helpful, breakfast was delicious. Every thing was very cleaned

As we hadn’t pre booked parking, we had a couple of issues but was rapidly resolve by staff without any problem

Modern hotel, a ten minute walk from Mataró train station.Stylishly decorated. Our bedroom was spacious, bed really comfortable, bath with shower over. Restaurant and bar great for relaxing with our family. Buffet breakfast with variety, lovely. Good value at €12/person. All staff we met were friendly and helpful and very responsive to our needs and requests. There are many bars and restaurants within a short walking distance and beautiful sandy beaches. Perfect for a weekend break.

It’s only a few blocks away from the city centre of Mataró. The staff is quite friendly, the room was clean.

The bed is very uncomfortable, we woke up with back and neck pain every morning. On the last day of our stay, they started to renovate the floor while we were there, suddenly all the floor mat around our room was torn off, and the smell of glue was circulating in the air. This would be unacceptable even in a low budget hostel.
