Staff were pleasant and really helpful. The accommodation was in a separate block to the inn, so it was peaceful and very quiet. The rooms were cosy and warm with all facilities you would expect. There was a good selection of hot and cold drinks in the room along with some snacks. The shower was hot and toiletries were provided. We had an evening meal (meat pies) in the pub and they were freshly cooked and delicious.
The breakfast the next morning was freshly cooked too, and surprisingly had omelette on there. It was cooked to perfection. I would highly recommend a stay here.

The bed was comfortable.
A nice little touch were the biscuits and caramel bars and plenty of tea, coffee, milk and sugar.
The room was small, not the one I booked which said it was up a small flight of stairs had a bath. This one was on the ground floor with a very small bathroom containing only a shower.

The property is very nice indeed, more of a small cottage but very well equipped. We arrived late but no problem picking up the keys though it took a while to find them. The breakfast is really excellent and the staff lovely.
We booked for 4 persons but unfortunately the day bed wasn't made up so, as it was late, we had to search around and find the bedding which wasn't so much of a problem but would have been nice if it was ready.
