Check in was easy and they accommodated a late arrival. It is a dated facility that has some charm.
The rooms are a tad dated and the beds are not comfortable at all. I know it's common in Ireland for places to not have air conditioning but a simple fan for a large room really isn't enough. Perhaps I missed it when booking the room but I was surprised to learn that breakfast was for an additional fee. I've stayed at other bed and breakfast places in the past and they all at least made an effort to make unique breakfast to order, not just provide a very simple buffet.
