Good location, good attention of the staff, breakfast must have a western version.

The location of the hotel is unbeatable. It is in the heart of the city. The attention of the staff was good and courteous.

The size of the room was normal, the mattresses were very soft and what surprised me was that I was informed during check in that the room cleaning was done every three or four days. It is the first time I have seen that modality. For breakfast I recommend you to include uI recommend you to include in breakfast

立地がよく便利。繁華街にありながら静かに休める。アメニティバーに変更されていて、必要なものだけを選ぶことができた。広い部屋にグレードアップして頂き、ゆったりと過ごすことができた。

良くなかった点ではありませんが、以前あった朝食バイキングがなくなっていて、とても残念でした

walking distance to shops and Uniqlo was just beside the hotel

Clean, decent rooms with impeccable location.

The location is excellent, right in the middle of the Kawaramachi Market and a short walk from temples, stations, the beautiful river side restaurants, and the shopping/evening life. Beds weee comfortable but the rooms are pretty cramped.

In the morning the housekeeping knocked on the door and pushed inside without asking, they walked all the way through the room and put new towels on the far tables as opposed to just handing them to me. It was weird and intrusive

Thank you! This gem of a hotel in a quiet nook of Kyoto is a sheer delight. We loved our 5 nights stay!

It was a short walk to the stations, Nishiki Market and shops. So many restos as you go out of the hotel. Family Marts were everywhere for essentials. The room’s size was generous. Overly clean! We had fresh linens, bottled water and towels daily. Bed was so comfortable too. Staff could speak English, very courteous and cheerful.

This hotel is great value. Staff is super friendly and accommodating. Very comfortable room.

The location can’t be beat. And I was impressed by the room size. The beds were comfortable and they had all amenities available as much as you needed.

Not a big deal but the window was covered so we didn’t have a way to see outside but the covering also added to the charm.

The best location, modern and clean with friendly staff.

THE LOCATION AND THE ROOM SIZE. The room was a very good size for japanese standards. The hotel is very pleasant. The ability make laundry for free came handy. There is no breakfast in the hotel, but there is no need because it is surrounded by cafes, restaurant and all shopping possible.

The location was very good - quiet, but close to desired areas and public transport. Front desk staff were friendly and helpful. The room was comfortable and a reasonable size, and the bed was just right.

Our only thought - we would have liked the air conditioning to be run at a cooler temperature overnight. It is adjusted centrally, rather than in the room

clean, good location , good value for money

1,top rate on the location . it's in the central of everything . 2,very good value for money too.( for the price we got of 13000yen a night) . 3,staffs are very friendly . always greeting you when you in and out. 4,room got cleaned everyday during our stay. some hotel only clean every other day.

not much to faulty about. room is a bit small like most of Japanese hotels.

Lovely room, great location, friendly and helpful staff! Didn't have any food in the hotel as it is so close to everything, so cannot comment on this. Free amenities, the coffee is great.

Restaurant closed since Covid. Nowhere nearby to get breakfast before 8AM. Room could use more lighting.

Very clean and a great location. It was right in the middle of everything and easy to get home after going out at night. A pretty great place that I would stay at again.

The downside here is the small rooms, but we knew that prior. It's similar at other places too. We had to do a bit of juggling with luggage and everything but in the end we made it work.

Lovely hotel stay in central area of Kawaramachi

great location about 5-10mins walk to several train stations. it was tucked off the main street, so was in a quiet neighbourhood. we were able to leave our luggage before check in and after check out. warmly greeted by the staff everytime we passed by the reception area and accommodated our other requests such as changing of coins for the laundry machines upstairs. there were free umbrellas for use during the days it was drizzling. comfortable bed and we were well rested during our 4 night stay there. while room didnt seem very soundproof (we could hear activities outside and in adjacent room), generally was quiet. plenty of food and shopping options nearby. housekeeping was excellent too, received new disposable slippers and we observed that our bedsheets were totally changed rather than simply making the bed. was also very nice that hotel had washing machines upstairs at 400yen/load and 100yen/30mins of drying, which was very affordable. also it seemed like one of the lifts were programmed to wait at our floor, so we had a lift available almost immediately everytime. if it wasnt a coincidence, then the attention to detail that the staff put in was amazing. Good, comfortable and value-for-money stay at the heart of Karawamachi area, and would recommend for solo or couple travelers visiting Kyoto

our room, while having bed size for 2, seems more designed for a single traveler. slightly small bed, partner and I took turns attempting to kick each other off the bed
