I stayed here while cycling, the hotel is very well located for that, being near the main cycle path into town, but very central so you can walk to the sights. They are also used to having bikes and securely storing them overnight. The owner is very friendly and helpful and works hard to make sure everything is OK, including the huge and very varied breakfast. Hoorn itself is stunning, especially the old harbour.

Everything ok
There is this one thing : if you want to register and automatic door doesn't open you need to phone a number that can be seen at the door. This is not such a big problem unless you are like me and you never carry your phone with you... Fortunately because registered during shop hours the friendly lady in the woman 👩 fashion shop on the other side helped me to make the call after which everything got resolved in a few minutes. So the hotel patroness was inside but the door was locked. So after registered I gave the lady in the woman fashion shop a bouquet of flowers💐!

Rooms were dated and we had 2 single beds that were not possible to put next to each other.
